AVM (Anti-Vibration Magic)

by

UNIKO

Your Hi-Fi system will come alive

“Powerful”  “Amazing”

“Incredible”

Are comments from the AVM users!

Purpose

To dampen and absorb undesirable and harmful mechanical vibrations, which generate audible or visible Microphonic distortions in any high-end audio, or video system.

End Results

Sound greatly improved in areas of : Musicality, less aggressiveness, refinement, details, transient clarity, inter-transient silence, sound-staging clarity, imaging solidity and third dimension, blacker background, overall sound density and richness, 3-D sensation, time and temporal coherence, taming ‘hot’ system sound, power, dynamic contrast and grading , temporal and frequency smoothness, etc. Carrying no negative sonic effect.

Video quality also greatly improved in areas of : More solid and saturated color, coherence in color, blacker and smoother blacks, richer tones, more 3D feeling, more details, smoother pictures, more natural skin tones, ……Dynamic contrast, depth, layering,  ….. etc.

Please do expect ‘huge’ overall improvements.

Applications

Coat a thin layer on the following:
(for audio system)
- Small vacuum signal tubes (in a ¼    inch width ring along the middle)
- Transformers
- Wires (such as interconnects, digital cables, power cables, speakers cables,  etc.)
- CD and DVD discs tops
- Speaker driver brackets/cabinets/crossover networks/internal wiring, Circuit boards/internal wires,
- Equipment chassis
- Equipment partition metal panels
- Heat sinks
- Active or passive components
- Analog turntable mats/platforms/platters/cartridges/ tonearms/motors/power supplies
- CD transports/DAC/dejitterizers

……………. and on any parts or equipment subject to internal or external vibrations.

In general, AVM can also be applied to the internal video and audio cables, circuit boards, transformers, fuse, capacitors, motor, fan frame/support of the following:
- Front & rear projection systems
- Plasma/ LCD/ DLP TV & Display
- Satellites Receives
- Digital cameras
- 3G Mobile Phones
- Back of the satellite dish
- DVD Players
- And other mechanical devices

(for video system) video and audio cables, motor and  fan frame/support, and internal wire in a front projection systems,  Satellite Dish…..  etc.

Properties

Non-toxic, flame-retardant, semi-fluid, can be washed off with water right after application or scraped off after drying, dries in minutes, self adhesive like glue, easily applied, in various colors, virtually no odor, non-eatable or drinkable (seek medical help immediately if swallowed or inhaled by mistake).

Contents
Exotic, high-tech like materials, proprietary.                Patent pending

Manufacturers: AVM can be sprayed onto equipment. It will result in a better coverage,
hence improvement on quality, and appearance

 Recommended Procedure For Applying AVM

1.   Tubes & Transistors, Preamps and Power amps
Coat a thin layer on the back of the circuit boards, soldering points, transformers, internal wires, capacitors, fuse.

2.   Speakers
Coat a thin layer on the speaker driver brackets, crossovers, capacitors, resistors, internal wires, inside cabinet, soldering points.

3.   CD Players
Coat a thin layer on the back of the circuit boards, soldering points, transformers, internal wires, capacitors and fuse.

4.   DVD Players
Coat a thin layer on the back of the circuit boards, soldering points, transformers, internal wires, capacitors and fuse.

5.   DA Converters
Coat a thin layer on the back of the circuit boards, soldering points, transformers, internal wires, capacitors and fuse.

6.  Televisions/LCD/DLP/PLASMA/Front and Rear projection Video Systems
Coat a thin layer on the back of the circuit boards, soldering points, transformers, internal wires, capacitors and fuse.

7.   Satellite Receivers
Coat a thin layer on the back of the circuit boards, soldering points, transformers, internal wires, capacitors and fuse..

8.   Satellite Dishes

Coat a thin layer on the back of the satellite dishes and the video cables.

9.  Tubes

Coat the ring (with the width of approximately 10mm) at the top, middle and bottom of the signal tubes.

10.   Power Cables, Interconnects, Speakers Cables, Video Cables
Coat a thin layer on the conductor and PVC jacket, then cover with sleevings for better appearance.

11.   Transformers
Coat a thin layer on the transformer, then apply shielding for better appearances.

12.   Capacitors
Coat a thin layer on the capacitors, then apply shielding for better appearances.

13.   Fuses

Coat a thin layer on the glass of the fuses

14.   Resistors

Coat a thin layer on the resistors.

15.   Equipment Chaises

Coat a thin layer on the equipment Chaises.

16.   Motors

Coat a thin layer on the internal wires and the covers.

17.  CD & DVD Discs

Coat a thin layer (with a width of approximately 10mm) on the covering of the CD & DVD discs. Position the coating on the first track and the last track of the disc.

Note:   Do not dilute AVM with water or any solutions. First depower the electronic component, where applicable. In each of the above case, please allow time (half an hour or more) for the AVM to dry before reinstallation or operation.

You can also apply AVM on the capacitors on your equipments. Left side shows AVM applied on only the top of the capacitors,
but for better results, you can apply AVM on the whole capacitors (shown on the right)
Note: Wait for the AVM to be fully dried before operating the equipment.

Instruction: According to your need, the first picture shows the application of AVM on a certain track (This applies only if you like a certain track on that CD). Since the tracks are recorded from inside out, the picture shows AVM is applied on about the 8th track.

The middle picture illustrates AVM is applied to the first and the last track.

The last picture on the right illustrates AVM is applied to the whole CD (all tracks).

Warning: Since AVM is in liquid state upon application, allow a short moment for AVM to dry according to the thickness; Suggestion for waiting time: If it is a thin layer (for example the first CD), then allow 10-15 minutes to dry. But if it is a thicker application (such as the second and the last CD, then wait until AVM is fully dried.
